Ray Ortega started PestPro after a decade with a national franchise, tired of a model that rewarded spray volume over diagnosis. The premise was simple: spend longer on the inspection, apply less material, and explain every decision in writing.

Fifteen years later, technicians are salaried rather than commissioned. Roughly two thirds of new work comes from a neighbor's referral.
